Moleskine Monochrome Drawing

Just finished this drawing a couple of days ago. I’ve been taking a while to finish projects and I’m trying to be patient with myself.

Sharing one of the process images and some photos of the completed piece.

Tiny Portrait Commission

One of my last commissions for 2016 was this drawing for a young woman wanting to have the image of her grandmother permanently inked on her arm. The artwork is inspired by a photograph of her grandmother when she was 15 years old.

On Getting Out of My On Way and Progress on New Series

For too long I’ve been getting in my own way. Fearing success (whatever that means) or lack of it. Fearing that I won’t accomplish all that I’ve set my mind to do. And as I do that I get absolutely nothing done. The more I think about it, the more I realize that it makes absolutely no sense. So enough with the non-sense. This time around, things will get done.

I’ve been working on a new series of portraits in graphite and ink, I really enjoy working in black and white. I enjoy mixing pencil and ink, the result and how it makes me feel. More on this series soon.

Website Coming Soon

Soon all blog posts, store and portfolio will be under one roof. It’s taken me long enough and it may look a little bit different from the photo below but I’m definitely excited to have everything organized and in one place.
